Butt Ring Fitting Service
50mm & 40mm Butt Rings are a regular, weekly request ! All brands of rods catered for, and all brands of rings are catered for. So if your FreeSpirit is customised with black KWAGs or PacBay Minima's, or your Century's are rung with Seaguides or Alps, I'll be able to match up a new one for you if it's chipped or broken! This is not simply 'gluing a center in', your old ring is taken off and replaced and re-whipped, in whatever colour your rods were built in, in around a week. Call or text to book in ! 07784100752
Rod Handle Conversions
Update your old vintage Daiwa Whisker, Tri-Cast Trophy, or Harrison GTI Match from the old sliding reel fittings
to a modern and secure reel seat like a Fuji DPS or one of the many types available ! Typically turned around with 1-2 weeks, your butt ring(s) are removed, a short section of handle and the old reel fittings removed, then it's rebuilt with a modern, sturdy reel seat. Carbon Line Clips & Depth Markers
Carbon line clips are another regular request, these are usually fitted in around a week, there are a few types available, and if you want one or two depth marker bands adding to any rod, that's no problem. Call for details - 07784 100 752

This is another weekly task ! These are a few before and after images, all types of rings are catered for, whether its a match or carp rod, boat or beach, spinning or fly rod, I have replacement rings to match up with anything you may need. Rod Blank Re-Glossing
Re-Glossing or re-Glazing are the most common name for this service. Essentially it's stripping a rod to the bare blank and starting again. It's time consuming and messy, both reasons are why a lot of rod builders won't do it. It's a POA (price on application) type job, so, I'll probably need a minimum of a few goods pics and a phone call before I'll consider taking them on!
