New build for 2026 built on a lighter action, slightly longer blank than the 'Intermediate' this is a more of a match anglers/ traditional style swing tip rod, for smaller fish and lighter lines.
A softer, more through action blank, more suited to lighter lines and hooklengths.
Weighing in at around 164 grams built on average, and around 12mm diameter at the top of the handle, this rod feels as slim and light as it looks. The blank is based on 25T carbon with a decorative 'X' wrap, all the way from the butt to the tip.
The finish is immaculate, this rods thread is a beautiful Madeira - Two Tone Olive Green theme thread, with Metallic Copper inlays and edging, with matching hardware. The thread locks on the single leg, Gunsmoke grey alconite guides, which are a slim, narrow match rod style guide for weight saving and retaining the feel of the blank. The butt ring is a 'Seaguide' branded 'Match' style guide in 12mm O.D.
The rings start at a generous 12mm O.D butt ring, and intermediates are graded from 8mm to 5mm down the blank to a 5mm O.D threaded swingtip top ring. The full cork handle is complimented by a 17mm TVS type reel seat, with matching carbon fiber inlay, for a comfortable, stylish finish, and will take virtually any reel you would want to pair with it. The top of the handle is finished with a Gold aluminium trim ring, and the bottom is finished with a matching Gold aluminium butt cap.
Handle length is a comfortable, tapered, shortened length of 20 inches, around 22/23mm O.D.
The rod also features a hook keeper just above the top of the cork handle. The tip joins the butt via a spigot joint, the action would be described as 'semi-through action' with some reserve in the butt for those bigger fish. I have rated it as 1.5lb to 6lb main lines and 1lb to 2 lb bottoms as a guide to its abilities. It's a rod for those waters where you're spending the day after those big roach, rudd and skimmers, but won't let you down should something bigger show up.

TTR Specialist Swingtip Leger 9ft

This is a swingtip rod for larger fish/slack line fishing, such as F1 carp and big tench, bream and barbel/ chub, more suitable to commercial match waters where control over big fish counts.
Weighing in at only 182grams built, and around 12mm diameter at the top of the handle, this rod feels as slim and light as it looks. The blank is based on 25T carbon with a decorative 'X' wrap at the base of the handle. The blank is a low glare mat finish, with only the 'X' section glossed.
The finish is immaculate, each build I do is different, the colour of this rod is exactly as you see in the images, I do not ‘do’ boring ;)
The rings/guides are 'K' series style silicon carbide guides, which are a slim, narrow version of the style favoured on modern day carp rods, lighter than carp rod rings, but more robust than 'match rings, - forward leaning, giving them great ANTI TANGLE properties. Single leg throughout the build for weight saving and keeping the true feel of the blank. Braid or mono may be used, you will never wear these rings out !

The action would be described as 'tippy' and faster tapered, this is NOT a silverfish rod. Although this type of blank doesn't normally get given a test curve, if I were to stick my neck out, I'd say it's in the regions of comparison to something around 1.5lbs.
Casting weight's around 12g to 56g, but would handle more with care, when you just need to 'lob' a big weight in the margins in floods etc.

New model built on a lighter blank than the 'Specialist' this is a more all-round rod that will suit people that mainly fish on the lighter side, 3-7lb mainlines, for a bit of everything, from big roach to small carp and tench.
Weighing in at around 178 grams built on average, and around 13mm diameter at the top of the handle, this rod feels as slim and light as it looks. The blank is based on 25T carbon with a decorative 'X' wrap, all the way from the butt to within 20 nch/50cm
of the tip, where it reverts to plain carbon for a softer cushioned tip. The finish is immaculate, each build I do is different, the colour of this rod is exactly as you see in the images, I do not ‘do’ boring ;)
